Ummm, Hello! How cool is this glow in the dark floating head? I need to make this. I have done the glowy eyes in the bushes in the past, but I ripped those bushes out last year. (Sorry Mother Nature, they were dying.) So this would be a great replacement project. I already have all but the glow in the dark paint and the Styrofoam in my craft arsenal. Hope I have time to make it myself before the holiday!

Check out the how-to here.

Have a spooky weekend,
❤ Roni

DIY Recycled Notepads

Make your own notepads with recycled paper

I have been making these scratchpads for ages with old junk mail, messed up printer pages and recycled art prints. Its really easy and you only need binder clips and a maybe a paper cutter (if you don’t mess with scissors).

Check out the gallery below for the how-to. Hover over the images to read more about each step. Here are some ideas as to what is possible with this process:

  • Cut 8.5” x 11” pages length-wise to make grocery list pads.
  • Cut 8.5” x 11” pages into quarters to make small scratch pads to leave in your desk drawer, kitchen drawer, junk drawer and purse.
  • Use whole sheets to make sketch books for the kiddos.
  • Leave a back prong on to hang your notepad from a cork board.
  • Slide magnets under the last page to make it stick to your refrigerator.

Happy Recycling!

Today’s OPP is a post from Shaken Together Life. Click on for a how-to on making a crisp Fall air-freshener for your home.  Get the instructions right here on shakentogetherlife.com. I can’t wait to get the supplies to try this myself! They use a biodegradable water polymer that seems pretty safe. I dig it!

OPP: Color Coded Keys

Here is one I have used my whole life. Way cheaper than buying a key cover. You can color code to tell your front door from you back door. Or if your kids keep losing their keys and blaming one another, color code them for stealthy investigative purposes – haha! Add glitter, glue jewels to the top…have fun!

Laurel at A Bubbly Life shows you how to do this in a jiffy. You should stick around there and look at some of the neat projects she’s got going on. It’s amazing stuff.

OPP: Jewelry Hanger

Jewelry Hanger

I don’t have a need to do this right now myself but it is SO NEAT I had to share. Follow the link below to learn how to make your own hanger for jewelry from a wooden hanger with screw hooks. Genius. Now I found this on the Polish blog, Entincelle. I don’t speak Polish so here is a link to the Google translated version in English.

I really want to make one of these. I am wracking my brain for uses for it. Maybe I will make it with larger hooks and hang belts on it since I have a home for all my jewelry at the moment. We’ll see.

Have a great weekend,
❤ Roni
