Who stepped on a duc(t)?

Just kidding. Nobody tooted. I just installed some central air in my hizzie, that’s all. Here is a visual diary (of sorts) of that process. Its almost done. Just need the electric box moved up to the 2nd floor and we are in business. (The box is located in the kitchen – until this weekend.) If you live in the tri-state area and you need heating and air-conditioning, give this guy a call: Glenn Lima. He even had his guys come out and build custom duct work for me to fit in my teeny tiny walls.

Opened up the knee walls for the duct work.

First, we opened up the knee walls for the duct work to go in.

This is where the Flyers shrine will be.

We did this all throughout the second floor. Dad and Steve even put up metal studs so I can have a proper dry-walled ceiling. This is where the Flyers shrine will be. See how it looked with the previous owners here.

Here is the other end of the floor. This is going to be the craft room. See how it looked with the previous owners here.

See that plywood walk way up there above the metal studs now? The air unit and other HVAC-y things (and my Christmas decorations) are going up there. Dad and the Tile Man ran that the whole way across to give me more storage.

Glenn and team installed the unit up there for the air. Yay!

An upstairs room pre-air installation.

Upstairs room post air installation. Pretty vents now live here, too 🙂

All the downstairs rooms got vent’s, too.

Doesn't the kitchen duct-work look like it was always there?
